An Autumn Tazetta

Last year in the autumn, Lawrence Trevanion, Wilf Hall, Steve Hampson and myself visited Bill Welch to look at some of his fall blooming tazettas. Bill generously allowed me to dig several clones while they were in flower. I like the strong colors and rounded head of flowers that this clone produces. It is from Bill’s famous Autumn Colors group. Only one was lost from the digging but that, of course, was the most desirable, an 8G-G from Matador by N. viridiflorus.

The rest are all now starting to flower this year.
