This September and October we were delighted to be visited by Bill and Teri Carter from Washington state USA.
Although it was late in our flowering season we had saved some blooms that would yield some worthwhile pollen.
Joel and Sian watch intently as Bill loads the precious pollen into his capsules. Maybe my grandchildren may grow up to be keen daffodil breeders??
We visited the waitomo caves and called at the Kiwi House where Teri was able to demonstrate her feelings towards Kiwis!!
