Kirby Fong described the 2014 Fortuna winners including the mini-gold and mini-rose winner described in this post.
Judging was on Saturday, but the next day, Sunday, Nancy Tackett noted that this bloom was even better than when it was judged. She asked me to post some new photos of this daffodil on “Day Two”.
As Kirby said:
The Miniature Gold Ribbon is for the best miniature daffodil in the show excluding the Container Section. The Miniature Rose Ribbon is for the best miniature seedling exhibited by its originator excluding the Container Section. Winner of both ribbons was 10-32-01 10Y-Y (‘Connie Greenfield’ x ‘Lee Martin’) exhibited by Jon Kawaguchi.
I am not sure if Kirby indicated but this cultivar was also hybridized by Jon Kawaguchi.
