2014 Fortuna Show – Standard Multi-Cultivar Awards

With only 367 stems in the show, there weren’t many collections, but here are the standard collections that won ADS awards.

Red-White-Blue Ribbon and Purple Ribbon

The Red-White-Blue Ribbon is for the best collection of 5 American-bred standards. The Purple Ribbon is for the best collection of 5 standards in the show. The winner of both of these ribbons contains the flowers: Back row: ‘Mesa Verde’ 12G-GGY (Spotts), 3-25-14 7Y-O; Front row: ‘Pogo’ 3W-GYO (Link), 3-10-14 3W-W, 3-20-14 11aYYG-YOO. The ‘Pogo’ at the lower left was the best intermediate bloom. The exhibitor was Bob Spotts.

Bozievich Ribbon

The Bozievich Ribbon is for the best collection of 12 standard daffodils from at least 4 RHS divisions. The flowers in the winning collection are: Back row: ‘Greenodd’ 3W-YWW, ‘Daydream’ 2Y-W, ‘Glasnevin’ 2W-W, ‘Lemon Haze’ 2Y-GWY; 2nd row: ‘Little York’ 2Y-P, ‘Merlin’ 3W-YYR, Keira KB-7Y-Y-I-51-08 7Y-Y, ‘Cassandra’ 9W-GYR; Front row: ‘White Collar’ 1W-YYW, ‘Crystal Bells’ 5Y-Y, ‘Downlands’ 3W-Y, ‘Blushing Lady’ 7Y-YYP. Quinn Award

The Quinn Award is for the best collection of 24 standard daffodils from at least 5 RHS divisions. There were no youth, historic, classic, reverse bicolor, intermediate, Havens, or Throckmorton collections.
