As always thanks so much for the reports and great photos! Some truly outstanding flowers were exhibited at Murphy’s!!! Congratulations one and all.
Steve
Thanks for the excellent photographs !
With regards to the Tuggle award, who was the exhibitor? I really like the tazettas but cannot find reference to Koshare anywhere?
Thanks
Christiaan
Christiaan,
The Tuggle Award winner was my exhibit. ‘Koshare’ 8W-Y is my cultivar/seedling which I have named and am registering this year (2014). It’s breeding is ‘Festivity’ x ‘Matador’ . 1-3 large florets – most often 2 – resembling ‘Festivity.’ Named after a white-painted clown in celebrations of several Southwestern USA Indian Tribes. (‘Pima’ and ‘Maricopa’ are also my tazetta seedlings I’ve named and are being registered in 2014)
Bob
Thanks for pointing out the omission. I’ve just added the exhibitor name to the Tuggle Award.
Kirby
All of these exhibits were outstanding, I thought Bob Spotts Tuggle was exceptional, quite an undertaking. Very nice staging. Great job Bob! Congratulations to all of you. Thanks for posting Kirby.
Larry
