The Murphys, California daffodil show was March 15-16 at Kautz Ironstone Vineyards (KIV). We had 398 entries by 15 exhibitors for a total of 797 stems. KIV plants many daffodils along the road past the grape vines and decorates the area around the winery with half wine barrels planted with daffodils and tulips. With so many daffodils, it would be natural for KIV to enter some daffodils in the show, and this year they did. They even won some ADS awards.
