In bloom here today is a Selection from: [(N. bulbocodium subsp. bulbocodium var. tenuifolius x Nylon group) x
(N. cantabricus subsp. cantabricus var. foliosus x N. b. tenuifolius)]. Sorry for all the Latin and the length! This is an early, small bulbocodium hybrid that has an austere appearance to my mind. The corona is 21mm (.826″) across at the mouth. Selected due to its symmetry, flat perianth segments (petals), small size,
and strong blooming habit. Note the three buds yet to open from a single bulb.
