Another Pink Perianth

'Brooke Ager' x N. gaditanus.

‘Brooke Ager’ x N. gaditanus.

Sid Dubose’s charming intermediate, N. ‘Brooke Ager’ usually has a faint hint of pink in its perianth when grown under my conditions.  So it should not be too surprising that when it was crossed with N. gaditanus that it yielded  some seedlings with pink in their perianths. The clone illustrated above is a lighter pink than the other crosses shown a few days ago but some of this ones sibs were darker when they flowered a few years ago.

  1. Harold,

Another fabulous and most intriguing flower! I fully agree with Greg, WOW. Clearly pink/pinks are coming. Years from now we can all look back and say that we saw these here on DaffNet first. A remarkable accomplishment! Congratulations.
