The Red-White-Blue Ribbon is for the best collection of  5 American-bred standards. The exhibitor was Rosemary Scholz. The Purple Ribbon is for the best collection of 5 standards. The exception of 5 historics has been removed, so now all collections of 5 standards are eligible. The winner was the Division 8 collection – Back row: ‘Maricopa’ 8W-Y, ‘Fancy That’ 8Y-O, 1-1-340 8W-YYO; Front row: ‘Pepper’ 8W-O, ‘Storyteller’ 8Y-Y.  Bob Spotts was the exhibitor.

The Havens Award is for the best collection of 12 standards from at least 3 divisions from RHS divisions 5 through 10. The exhibitor was Bob Spotts. Seedling label 1-1-30 appears twice although the two flowers are clearly different. Decision of the judges is final.

  1. Wow!  Awesome collections!  That Quinn winner is stunning.

  2. Thanx Greg. All the blooms in the Quinn are either my seedlings or my registered cultivars. Most are viridiflorus progeny  – which are extra-early blooming, innovative and hardly the most show-worthy.  It was fun to put it up. Fortunately, there was no competition.
