Follow-up of Daffodil Season 2014

Hi All,

I received three bonuses this year after my normal daffodil Season:
1. My “Tenby” daffodil, for the purist N. obvallaris set seed this year. I will be offering them later on. (send email direct please – not on daffnet.)
2. For the first time since I transplanted them from Maryland 6 years ago, my “Twin Sisters” again for the purist N. medioluteus bloomed in all their glory and are still in bloom. Weeks after the last nearby daffodil show (nearby to me is driving distance.) Than again, I drove to Little Rock this year which is just outside my usual driving range by a bit, say 600 miles over.
3. I had an overabundance of miniature pollen this year. I don’t know if it was the off again -on again -Off again ice age that we experienced this spring or what. Can wait to see what the seed bring me? Their bed is already prepared.

I’ve also had good luck turning the daffodils around that I received from down under. With the local ice age, I have foliage up on most of the new bulbs that I received this spring.

Enjoy the summer.

  1. 2nd comment on the Tenby daffodils above.

I now have enough “Tenby” daffodil seeds if anyone wants them; Maybe one or two batches.  Don’t have as many as I had when I was in Maryland.

Send me private email at title= for those that are interested.
