Reed2004 110 1 Here is one of John Reeds breeding goals accomplished.  He hoped the color would be more vibrant in the photo.  He considers this a red trumpet from pink breeding.   Flaming Silk is Magician X Pink Silk.  In Minnesota, the pink Silk seedlings are either not well colored or are division 2 flowers.  John had a definite bright trumpet in Flaming Silk.  The color shifted more toward the raspberry end of the spectrum with the addition of this seedling as a parent.

Hi everyone,

Here is John’s newest seedling 2004-110-1.  It’s parents are:   97-28-1 (Raspberry Rose x Magician) x Flaming Silk.  This is the first year it has bloomed.  It is a 1W-R.  He hopes you like it.
