We are fortunate to have so many beautiful daffodil photographs shared with Daffnet.org readers around the world. Just when we Northern Hemisphere folks believe the bloom season is over, our friends in the Southern Hemisphere start sending photos of their early blooms!
Many of these photos have been collected for DaffSeek, with permission from the photographers. Also this year, three “special” collections of photographs were sent to DaffSeek:
- Bob Moore, of Scotland, sent a collection of The Brodie of Brodie daffodil photos and promises more next year.
- Janet Hickman, the new Garden Club of Virginia Daffodil Chairman, received a collection of daffodil slides which she scanned into digital images. The earliest date on most of these photos is 1953.
- Yeskendir Satekov of Kazakhstan sent a collection of daffodil photos taken at the Altay Botanical Garden in Ridder, Kazakhstan. Even though this is a small collection, he is the first DaffSeek photographer from Kazakhstan.
To find these collections, click on the box “Expanded Menu” at the top of the page and enter the photographer you would like to view. For Bob Moore’s collection, enter Brodie as the hybridizer also.
Daffodil photographers, a special “thank you” to all of you for contributing more than 28,000 photographs that are in DaffSeek today.

Nancy & Ben,
Thanks so much for implementing the feature to display photos from a specific photographer! Your statistics for daffodil photographer contributions to DaffSeek is very impressive and something we greatly appreciate.
