Rest in Peace

Received from Kate Carney; Alma Bender was Dr. Bender’s sister in law and it was she who got him interested in daffodils. We will be going to the funeral tomorrow with Richard and Rebecca and the Darlings. She was the matriarch of the Tuscarora Daffodil Group in Chambersburg, PA. She would enter with her two daughters Grace and Linda under the name GAL Bender-they were the silver ribbon winners at most shows.
