Word has reached us that: Captain John Lipscomb passed away this morning. He was a long time member of GDS and owner of our favorite place to visit for meadows of daffodils and orderly raised beds of all divisions of narcissus. We sold some of the bulbs we dug up from his meadow at the bulb sale yesterday.
When I have more information I will post it. He was a lovely man and will be greatly missed.

I’m sure there are many in the ADS who are heart broken with this news. Myself included. John was one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever met. He was ever so kind and caring of all others. What a loss for not only the ADS & GDS, but all of us who care deeply for him. May the creator bless him and his family in the unspeakable joy of the eternal kingdom of love.
