2015 daffodil flag flying in central Mississippi

On Groundhog Day I have clumps of Monal 2 Y-R in full bloom—and we have 27 degree temperatures predicted for tonight.
Enjoy or pick???
These are second-year bulbs planted in a “NO Dig” bed (see March 2013 Daffodil Journal page 189) becoming increasingly popular
with those of us with heavy clay soil.
The Monal clump in the shaded Wister row along our driveway, which those of you who came to the 2011 or 1997 conventions in
Mississippi might remember, are a day or two behind.
Ruth Pardue insisted on ‘Monal’ as a Wister winner, and she was right!
