Has anyone searched for N. poeticus in Austria lately? Matthew Zandbergen wrote, in the 1971 March Daffodil Journal, about great fields of them. There is a Narzissenfest in Bad Aussee each year in May. If you Google narcissus in Austria, you’ll get links to various tours. Don’t stop there. Apparently they can be seen all along the road to Golica, Slovenia. Google narcissus in Golica for more information. Sounds interesting.

I have been there nearly 20 years ago one week before the Narzissenfest started. Near the Grundlsee are really big fields with N. poeticus and wonderful landscapes.
