  1. Everyone who knew Sandy Reed loved her.  Always friendly, warm and caring, she will be missed.  The world is lesser today because of her passing.

    Rest in Peace, Sandy.

Our prayers are with you, John, and your family.

  2. Greatly saddened and upset to hear about Sandy’s passing. I adored her smile, genuine warmth, and laugh. It was always such a pleasure to talk with her. She bore the horrible news of ALS with grace and dignity. Much love to John and family.

  3. Sandy died peacefully at home yesterday evening, from complications of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.  At this time, arrangements are pending.

Sandy was for many years the behind-the-scenes other half of husband John’s Oakwood Daffodils.  The administrative work, catalog production, mailings, and phone, email, and fax correspondence—and doing her best to keep John focused and on task—were just a few of her fine contributions. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially by those who regularly visited Oakwood Daffodils for spring bloom and summertime daffodil digs.

Cards may be sent to Dr. John Reed, 2330 W Bertrand Road, Niles, MI 49120, USA.
