Dutch daffodils aplenty!

Hardy, spring-flowering Leenen viridiflorus hybrids are finally available for sale in the U.S.  Check out the Dutchgrown.com website and order soon as the supply is limited.

There is a significant number of new and newer Dutch daffodil varieties available to the American market this year.   ‘Snowtip’, ‘Color Run’, ‘Martha Stewart’, ‘Peach Cobbler’, ‘Alaska’, ‘Alexis Beauty’, ‘Shinto’, ‘Over Easy’, ‘Queen Beatrix’, ‘Sint Victor’, ‘Ambon’, ‘Princess Alexia’, ‘Sweet Pomponette’, ‘Golden Pearl’, ‘Corsage’/’Bright Corsage’, ‘Prosecco’, ‘Banana Daiquiri’, ‘Sweet Desire’, ‘Pride of Lions’, ‘Eline’, ‘Double Beauty’, ‘Green Garden’, ‘Flower Surprise’, ‘Attraction’, ‘Radar Love’, ‘Frosty Snow’, ‘Doctor Witteveen’, ‘Bright Sun’, ‘4U2’–and many more–grace the pages of general mail-order merchants like John Scheepers, Brent and Becky’s, Colorblends, Livinggardens.com, White Flower Farm, Dutch Gardens, Breck’s, and Dutchgrown.com.  Several of these are the gorgeous Karel van der Veek hybrids we were shown by Carlos van der Veek during his wonderful presentation at the 2015 ADS Convention.  If your collection already has van der Veek hybrids, you know how strongly they grow and how colorful they can be.

Shop around and be sure to include some of these daffodils among your bulb procurement this fall.  And don’t forget:  bring stems of these beauties to next year’s daffodil show in St. Louis for the 2016 World Daffodil Convention.

All best,

Jason
