N romieuxii showing colour of flowers

Hi Folks

This N romieuxii has flowered for me this year. I have no record of where it came from nor which sub species it is. I don’t recall ever having petunioides here so we have a mystery.

This flower is a gorgeous lemon colour of petunioid form. The corona measures 1.75″ or 46mm thus being a huge flower for the species. As the Australians claim microcodiums and macrocodiums I wonder if this is a step towards a macroieuxii

  1. I note that the photos are dated Copyright 2003. I promise you they were taken today, I was too lazy to reset the date and time on the camera before taking the photo. Why does modern technology persist in showing up our frailties?
