  1. Rafael, wonderful photos of the species in the wild!  I believe that what you are calling N. obsoletus is actually N. miniatus.  We seem to use a different taxonomy in the States.

  2. I’m ready to come visit and look for daffodils in the wild…  Great pics.

  3. Rafael, thanks for posting all those varied species photographs. Could you possibly consider a daffodil trip to the United States? Either come to the World Daffodil Convention in St.Louis MO, April 6-10, or to the American Daffodil Society fall board meeting in the fall, where we’ll have the first ever autumn
    show.
Bring your flowers, and I’m sure Larry Force will bring his.

  4. Yes in Europe, the accepted name in both KEW and Flora Iberica is Narcissus obsoletus, which was previously described by Haworth Narcissus obsoletus (Haw.) Spach, Hist. Vég. 12: 452 (1846).

Thank you all, I really would have loved to! It is lovely to see so much enthusiasm for daffodils in the USA, which I must say is hard to find in my country, at least among gardeners. Unfortunately, and although I am very grateful for your invitation, due to my current work/familly situation I am afraid I will not be able to attend the conferences. Many thanks all the same.
