2016 Pennsylvania Daffodil Growers South at Joe Hamms

Hello All,

With the season as early as it was (for me, at about 3 weeks early), some of us were afraid that there wouldn’t be much to bring to Joes show, and it seemed like the Indiana Contingent would fill Joes show. For the most part this was true, but there were many more flowers than we expected. In Fact, I believe Joe counted a record number of entries!.

It was a fantastic show! with quality at extremely high levels.

Best in Show – Cinnamon Ring, exhibited by Mike and Lisa Kuduk

The 3 Stem Classic Ribbon, The White Ribbon and the lower right flower was the Classic Cultivar winner. Salome, exhibited by Frank Vonder Meulen.

Mini Gold – Little Sentry Exhibited by Suzy Wert from the Lavender Ribbon winner

Mini White – Rikki, Exhibited by Naomi Liggett.

Rose Ribbon for the best seedling in show. Exhibited by Dr Ed Robinson Bennett. The parents are Fragrant Rose X Claverly.

The Maroon Ribbon Win exhbited by Joe Hamm. The flower from the top left are: Oryx, Animal Crackers, Perpetuation, step forward, Wishing Well.

The Red White and Blue Ribbon winner, exhibited by Suzy Suzy Smucker Wert. The flowers are: Cornet Call, Reed Seedling 3W-WWO, Absegami, Painted Dessert & Spindle-top.
