The plants in the pictures are flowering in the greenhouse. The species and their crosses with the deeper yellow flowers are from a site near Torre de Juan Abad which I know from Gerd Knoche; the others are from St. Elena. The colour of the flowers of N. triandrus pallidulus at the two sites is nearly uniform.
It is known that the plants of one species at a special place can be very varying. If you observe the same species at variable sites the difference can become still greater.
