I enjoyed a Good Friday coffee with friends Kevin and Julie .Julie asked how the early tazettas were going ; – very slow was the reply as it is very dry and we only had 12 mm rain in the last burst that brought heavy rain and flooding to the top of the South Island .Julie then produce a short but neat , 6 head stem of TAHI. She has bragging rights for the 2016 season with this very early flower .
Julie Harris has been one of the leading tazetta exhibitors , at all levels , in the last few seasons and has a good collection with a lot of Wilf Hall seedlings and registrations .
As the Kiwis are flying out to St Louis for the World Convention , the autumn flowers are slowly emerging . Best Wishes for an enjoyable week as we prepare for planting .
