Late in the season we have a lot more choice in the div 3 smallcups and lower divisions .They were an impressive display and had the judges working .
PREMIER 3y – y – MOONWALKER – John Hunter . A new registration from John ; a big flower , interesting colour change at rim of cup . Definitely not orange ; just a deeper toned yellow .A very useful addition to a limited division .
PREMIER 3Y – O – TRIPLE CROWN – Brian MacKenzie . Very neat , – beat a host of bigger flowers .
PREMIER 3W – Y – PLACID SEA – Reg & Rita Cull .
PREMIER 3W – R – – POLAR FLAME – John Hunter . Notable that 3 of the 4 smallcup premiers are John Hunter registrations .

It’s nice to see the oldie ‘Triple Crown’ winning in the land of rugby. Rugby connotation will not be understood by American readers. It’s a fictitious Award to the team that beats all three opponents in the 4 nations Britiiish Isles annual championship. Named on one of the occasions when Ireland had this honour. I have some nice orange cupped miniatures, (and almost miniatures) from ‘Triple Crown’ x N. assoanus. Alas, they will probably be sterile.
