Triandus hybrids

Hi
At our Canberra Show Lawrence asked whether our triandus hybrids were fertile. A couple were still flowering so I pollinated them with pollen from our tall form of NTT. The two groups of seedlings that were pollinated all set seed and the first seed from our seedlings has been harvested. The triandus seedlings have 3-5 florets and our tall form of NTT often has up to 6 florets so we are hoping for some good seedlings. Having fertile triandus hybrids will open up an all new line of hybridising for us. Hopefully it will enable us to breed fertile miniature triandus as well.
We have also had quite a good seed set on our fertile jonquilla hybrids and poeticus hybrids.
