In this post we cover the standard collections that won ADS awards. If an award is not mentioned, it means there were no entries in the class for that award.

Historic daffodils are cultivars registered before 1940. Flowers in the winning collection are:
Back: ‘Chinita’ 8Y-YYR (1922), ‘Sweetness’ 7Y-Y (1939), ‘Silver Chimes’ 8W-W (1914);
Front: ‘Avalanche’ 8W-Y (1906), ‘Aspasia’ 8W-Y (1908).
At least two of these seem to be misidentified, but the decision of the judges is final.

Intermediates typically measure between 50 and 80 millimeters in diameter. The flowers in the winning collection are:

    I assume that you are no longer the keeper of the Awards dies for making new medals at ADS National. I was wondering if ADS is getting close to the end of the 20 medals for the Marie Bozievich award that I donated years ago. If so, I want to donate another 20 when these run out. The Bozievich ribbon winner in your email below prompted me to think about it.
