Step out of your warm house and into Nature’s refrigerator.  No man-made refrigerators necessary in Northeast North Carolina.  After half of my daffodils bloomed in the summer like February weather.  Now I am concerned about our Show on March 25 being frozen out. However, the show will go on.

Now March 25th may come without the remainder of my daffodil blooming because it is too cold.  All those in the Mid-Atlantic region are invited to come to the Barco, NC for the show.  Early entries are Friday March 24th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and on Saturday morning March 25th from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.  Judging starts at 10:00 am.  For the Mid-Atlantic we are the early show.  If your daffodils are not willing to wait for your show, “Come on down!”

Weather keeps us humble. Those cast-offs I planted in mid-January may come in handy!
