Hi Folks,
Our news tells us that Minnesota is very cold with deep snow. It seems hard to believe that the Northern Hemisphere show season is only a few weeks away. I guess that it will be time for people to start talking about the next World Convention in Canberra 2020. Please be advised that we are planning a Post Convention tour in the South Island following the Convention. The tour will be of about ten days and will include the NZNDS South Island show and possible visits to Nelson and to closer daffodil properties. This will be a wonderful opportunity to add value to your Down Under experience.

David, I am so looking forward to this amazing trip! Have you dates?
No
Will be decided when get some inkling of when early peak bloom will be
At this rate who knows
Feb is supposed to be warm, compared to Jan!
So I expect some time in (mid?) Feb…
Spring in the Southern hemisphere is in late September to November if I
remember well!

Someone in Canberra will need to confirm the dates but I have a suspicion that the convention will be the third weekend in September and our tour immediately after.
Dave
A Happy and Healthy New Year to all.
Looking forward to the World Daffodil Show in Australia 2020 and the NZ tour afterwards. for those of us in the USA who are planning on attending, it will be a blessed 3 week break from the turmoil of the presidential election campaign taking place prior to the election on Nov. 3, 2020. I vaguely remember that there wasn’t much in the NZ and Aust. newspapers or on the televisions concerning that American election in 2012 .
David, thanks for this info! Don, yes, that will be a VERY good time to be out of the USA!!
