One final award is the Silver Ribbon awarded to the exhibitor who earned the most blue ribbons. It was Kirby Fong with 52 blue ribbons.

Here’s a little information about the source of some of the winning cultivars. The Washington Daffodil Society offered ‘Calaveras Gold’ on their fund-raising list a couple years ago, so there should be some miniatures enthusiasts in the WDS that also have this cultivar (which was hybridized by Bob Spotts). ‘Pirongia Gem’ and ‘Pirongia Jewel’ were hybridized by Graeme and Faith Miller in New Zealand. The Millers donated bulbs of them to the ADS auction a couple years ago, so in addition to those of us who bought directly from the Millers, there should be some auction bidders who have them.
