My friend Gerhard Kleinhans found this daffodil in his field and says it is a native seedling. He asked me if similar varieties exist. I am no specialist for double daffodils and give this question to Daffnet.

Looks a lot like the cultivar ‘Rip van Winkle’ . A long time ago I found a similar plant between native daffodils in Belgium.
Gerd, Meanwhile I made some research and my opion now is that it can be ‘Rip van Winkle’ growing on a poor soil.
