One event at the ADS Fall Forum and Board Meeting October 25-27, 2019, will be a “small” symposium. The theme is growing small daffodils and using small spaces. There will be a demonstration about bulb planting in pots and talks by several experienced growers about growing in pots, growing miniatures and using small spaces–with what a recent bulb company’s ad called “nook and cranny narcissi”.
As part of that symposium, I’m asking everyone to answer a down-sizing challenge, “If you could only have 25 varieties of daffodil what would they be?” You can use any criteria you wish: garden worthiness, show success, personal associations, etc. I’ve already received a goodly number of responses and the results are interesting but I’d like to hear from as many people as possible, so please send me your list at .
Thank you,
Janet
