Last call for 25 Daffodils List

There are still a few days to send in your list of “Which daffodils I would grow if I could only have 25 varieties”.  This is a project related to the coming ADS Fall Forum in Lynchburg next weekend.  As part of that meeting, we’re having a “small” symposium about planting miniatures, using pots, and planting in small spaces.  I want to collect as many responses as possible to the question, “What 25 would you choose.”  I appreciate the many people who have already contributed.  This is for everyone, even if you’re not attending the Forum.  The final list of top 25 choices will be presented at the meeting and also in the Journal.

To be included, send your list to me at title= by Wednesday, October 23.

Make sure your favorites are counted!

Thank you,

Janet

  1. Janet,

Following many conversations in St Louis I had planned a Journal article about planting miniatures in pots. I’ve never got organized enough to write it. I believe that I have solved many of the problems of the past and now lose very few and have better flowering than ever. If we were able to arrange a SKYPE presentation then I would be happy to oblige, or maybe I will be able to do a digital presentation here and get it to you by the weekend. Although it is nearly November I have a few wonderful pots in full bloom to illustrate my theories.

  2. Dave, I would love to have your addition to the talks about raising miniatures in pots.  I’ve sent you an email.
