A new species ‘N. grandae’ has been described. I think it is allotetraploid like for example N. miniatus and N. tortifolius. It has beautiful flowers and is vigerous and therefore should be of interest for exhibition and hybridizing. More information you find in the pdf-file ‘Narcissus x barrae and narcissus grandae‘.

Mary Lou, I saw that you also posted the paper ‘Narcissus grandae y Narcissus milagrosus ….’ in DaffLibrary, which is a great resource for all important scientific informations about daffodils.
