It is with great sadness I report the John Pearson passed away today after a long illness.
He was a wonderful breeder of daffodils and will be greatly missed.

A truly remarkable man! We’ll miss his new cultivars over in the USA – but already we miss his visits to our ADS Conventions. I’ll remember him – by observing at the lovely “moderate” white cultivar he named after me, noting my size!
