Silver Chimes

Good morning
Here is a post to me from David Fowlkes. I checked Joe Hamm’s 2019 listing and didn’t see this one there. I didn’t write him.

“””I am a relatively new member of the ADS. I live in southern Virginia and am trying to get hold of a few bulbs of ‘Silver Chimes ‘ daffodils. Brent Heath tells me that the European stocks are viruses, so I am wondering if you know of a possible source of a few bulbs?
Sincerely,

  1. We grow it here at Beinn Sloidh, and I may be able to add it to next year’s list. A reminder email in March will prompt me to check on it.

  2. How would one know if they are virused? I have some from a European stock and I’ve never seen any signs of disease on them or any other daffodils growing nearby.

  3. I have several bulbs and may be able to share. They have no indication of a virus which could display yellow striped and stunted foliage.
