Daffodils in bloom in Minnesota?

Greetings from snowy Minnesota!  We received about 6-8 inches of fluffy snow in the Minneapolis-St Paul area overnight and into this morning.  It is now a bright and sunny day with temperaturs in the 20’s.  We probably have a foot or more of snow in our daffodil gardens as of this storm.  Perhaps there is some new version of a W-W daffodil in these piles of snow?

We know that our daffodil friends in other parts of the country are dealing with much worse weather than we are.  Our thoughts go out to you and hope you stay warm and safe!

Our local show is not until May, so unless Mother Nature gives us another April blizzard like she did last year prior to the National Convention, we should be fine for our local show this year.

These pictures were taken today in the gardens of Margaret Macneale, Daffodil Society of Minnesota president.
