It is no wonder that we daffodil lovers in Minnesota fret every year about whether we will have blooms for our early-May show. The attached two photos are from March 4, 2019 and March 9, 2020. Same location in my yard, of the beds holding most of my better bulbs. I also found snowdrops, some with buds, up about 2-3″ this morning. There is hope for us this year! [Last year, 2019, just 6 days after the first photo, we got an additional 5.5″ of snow, and had a blizzard in early April. No surprise that we had no blooms for the National Show here in our own hometown!] I am really looking forward to Dallas in a few days!
