This is a seedling of Monal X Banker which is as early as Monal not quite as colorful, but much better formed. Until I have two stocks, I only use the pollen from seedlings. I am blooming seedling crosses in my seedling beds and have to get these planted out. The last couple of years have been crazy with me traveling for work most of the time. I should start to catch up taking care of the collection. I have good form but lack the color intensity I would like to see. It seems that you can get one or two traits and have to settle for improvements in the next generation. More to follow…..
