Petra, the Monksilver x is stunning in form and color!
Beautiful color in the ‘Homecoming Princess’ cross!
Thanks Darrin – when this seedling flowered for the first time I was a bit disappointed because it was just a white flower without a trace of pink. Meanwhile it has proved to be the best from this cross and it taught me that colour is not everything. Symmetry, good poise and free flowering habit are at least equally important. Have added another picture to show the sparkling whiteness and pleasing form – hope you don´t mind.
Mary Lou – I like the colour of this, too! In some seasons it is a pure deep pink throughout without any yellowish tones, only the rim has a strong tendency to dry in sunny weather as we had it for several weeks now.
Homecoming Princess is a very good breeder for div. 3 Pinks, even if crossed with div.2 flowers with a shortish cup.
