Last daffodils blooming

It’s warm and sunny here (75 degrees F) and a bit windy.  The last of the daffodils are open, and are fading quickly.   In the photo on the right, the top two blooms are ‘Final Curtain’, and the little poet is ‘Starlet’.  In the little group at the bottom, ‘Baby Moon’ is on the left, and N. jonquilla is on the right.  The bottom bloom is probably ‘Baby Moon’ or a seedling from it.  It looks like ‘Baby Moon’ but is shorter, so I call it ‘Little Moon’. :-)   In  the  other  photo,  ‘Emma  Lazarus’  is  on  top,  the  yellow  flower  is ‘Tittle-Tattle’,  and  the  three  little  poets  are  ‘Sandburg’,  looking  a little  worse  for  the  heat.

  1. Interesting. In my garden I know that the season is over when x medioluteus, aka ‘The Twin Sisters,” begins to flower.
