Jaydee has reminded me that I need to update on the New Zealand situation following the postponement of the Canberra World Convention. I will work on the assumption that restrictions caused by Covid 19 have been eased.
Graeme has welcomed people to continue their visit to Canberra and then to follow to NZ as previously arranged. All good.
We would then offer the NZ part in full. I am happy to arrange a tour for only one person if push comes to shove or we can offer a full tour for as many as want.
An alternative would be to come in to Christchurch for the local combined show on the weekend of September 19 and 20. In my view the combination of an Alpine and a Daffodil show makes for perhaps the most interesting show in the World where species plants of many genera, NZ natives and high quality daffodils are seen together. Then the tour as arranged followed by the NZNDS South Island National show in Lincoln.
Some will elect to remain in Christchurch for a few days after the National with something special arranged for you. The Woodend show will be held on Saturday 3rd October, a wonderful country, community event.
