Daffodil Friends,

Here’s some late news from the Southwest – or I mean Oakwood Daffodils! The  lovely blooms of ‘Lone Ranger’ are open! ‘Lone Ranger’ was named by John Reed after himself – after all you knew that in the comics Lone Ranger was named John Reid – didn’t you?

Bob, I love it! And yes, David and I knew about the masked man’s name…
Looks deep pink to us. Is it?

Oh yes, that is a lovely 2 w-r. Looks like there may some some pink in those petals also. Gosh, this brings back memories of long ago when I used to listen to episodes of The Lone Ranger on radio before I  had a TV. Didn’t remember his real name was John Reid though. Thanks for posting Bob, and thanks John Reed for hybridizing the beautiful daffodil.
