The Wanganui Horticultural Society held their Spring Show on Saturday 19 September in the Riverside Church Hall .Judge Andrew Jenkins faced over 350 Daffs from16 exhibitors from throughout our wider Central area . A large number of other spring flowers , shrubs and vegetables plus the excellent floral art always expected in Wanganui made for a very colourful show . Sixteen adults and one young exhibitor in the floral art made for a very bright show . Local President Wayne Hughes , on his home turf , was hard to beat in the daffodil section but there were good flowers throughout the grades .

A good public attendance , social distancing observed , well sanitized , but great attitude by management and exhibitors , – the show must go on .
