Hi, all,
John Reed is not having good luck this fall. On Oct 9, he fell and landed on his knees. The paramedics persuaded him to go to rehab for his knees, where he subsequently got COVID. He was transferred to Memorial hospital in South Bend, got his blood oxygen levels up, semi-recovered from COVID, and went back to rehab. This second time there, they screwed up his meds, and he got very, very sick with a slow heart rate and other assorted maladies having nothing to do with COVID or his knees. He is back at SB Memorial Hospital, COVID-free, but they expect him to be there for a couple of weeks getting straightened out. This may or may not happen because he might choose to leave their loving embrace and go home! (I know I would!)
If you could send get well cards to Oakwood, I think it would be best.
