What miniature is this?

Message Body:

Hello from Connecticut,
I am wondering if anyone in your organization would like to help me identify a tiny daffodil. I have searched the internet and looked through various bulb catalogs (example Brent and Becky) and all of the minis I found seem larger than this one.
My father (now deceased) collected plants and traveled to UK, Greece, China, etc so there is a possibility he got them abroad. These were in his rock garden.I would love to know the name of this one and to be able to buy more if possible. If anyone is interested in seeing, I can email photos if you provide email address.
Thank you for your consideration.

  1. Two flowers come to mind:  N. rupicola or N. assoanus.  I’m leaning towards N. rupicola because it usually comes with only one bloom per stem.  N. assoanus often comes with two or more blooms per stem, and the foliage is more reed-like, like that of N. jonquilla.
