There had been talk about creating an e book for the Judges Handbook. We wanted to have something available for Judges so that they could have a Kindle version on their iPad or Tablet. There are some technical difficulties we’re still working out for a Kindle version. However, it was much easier to create a Paperback that can be ordered on Amazon.com. This should be available for those who would like a regular paperback version. They are priced at $25. The price was chosen because with taxes and shipping from Amazon.com the final price paid will be about the same as if you ordered a Binder and copy of the Judges Handbook at $30 on the webstore.
2 proof copies have been ordered. One will be sent to Cathy Felton as Student Judges Chair and Rebecca Koesters as Judges Chair. It is hoped they will have their copies within a couple of weeks.
This should be available on Amazon.com within about 3 days. They need the time to double check everything is “good to go” before it will be posted on the site.
This has been practice for what we hope will be an exciting new book this fall by one of our members. . . .this is a tease so stay tuned

A great idea! Hopefully it will be easy enough to keep it updated with any changes made to the handbook.
Will it be available at any time in a PDF format? I don’t use a Kindle, but I like having books such as these on my computer for easily searching.
Yes, Becky we’re trying to move in that direction. I would like to see a spot on our homepage somewhere where we can post the most current Judges Handbook so people will only have to order 1 time and then have a lifetime pass to access it. There are details to work out of course :-)
I’m told the 2 proof copies are on their way to me. I will turn around and mail them to Rebecca and Cathy. They should have them by Labor Day. I look forward to their review.
