2022 William G. Pannill Award was announced at the ADS Annual Membership Meeting.
‘Williamsburg’ is the recipient of the 2022 Pannill Award. Registered in 1970, ‘Williamsburg’ was bred by William G. Pannill from [Easter Moon x Vigil]. It is a spectacular mid-season standard size daffodil with a smooth white perianth and white corona that is ribbed and frilled at the edges. Yes, Ben, that moment at the World Daffodil Convention in Holland in 2008 when Bill was able to see huge fields of his “baby” Chromacolor was deeply heart warming, and unforgettable indeed.
