This weekend saw the return of the Blayney spring show after 2 years of COVID enforced rest.
Over 450 stems greeted the judges for this early season show in the usual cool conditions (I have been colder in Blayney but certainly not tropical)
Class 1 is the NSW/ ACT class for 9 distinct from divisions 5 – 13, at least 3 divisions. With 4 entries there was good competition – the winner including 3 from division 6, 3 poets, 2 division 11 and a div 8
Out of this class came the best 5-13
Class 2 called for 3 vases of 3 from distinct divisions. The winning entry included Turland Gold and 2 seedlings
Class 3 calls for 3 distinct, 1 Trumpet, 1 large cup and 1 small cup. The photo is the first and second placed entries. First included Hanrahan 3w-yo, 9/21 1Y-O, and Miss Di 2w-w
Hanrahan was champion small cup and reserve champion while 9/21 was champion trumpet
Class 4 called for 6 distinct
