2023 ETDS show wins

Hello All

for my 1st post of this show season, let me explain the reason for my tardiness. This has been a seriously challenging season for me with experienced trauma and my computer dying as well as other personal issues. I’m happy to say that most all of those things are now behind me. So, let the show photos begin!

the East Tennesee Daffodil Society show returned to the UT grounds this year which we were all happy to see even when it’s a bit smaller room. The Small Grower award was Avalanche exhibited by Debbie Fox and sorry, no photo was taken.

This time, there was a special surprise trophy for a memorial to John Lipscomb who was well known for his ADS White Ribbon wins in either the Georgia Daffodil Society and this ETDS show. Enjoy the photos.

Some shows offer a memorial trophy for a past member who was active in the show. This trophy was awarded to the White Ribbon Winner of Louise Randal by the Kuduks. The trophy is a memorial for John Lipscomb who frequently won the white ribbon in the Atlanta show and the ETDS shows. John is (I say “is” because I believe all our loved ones remain with us no matter the status of their physical body) such a beautiful soul with a gentle demeanor and a true southern gentleman style.
