Perhaps I have overlooked it? If the ADS Gold and Silver Medals were awarded at the recent Convention held in Sacramento—who were the honorees, please?
This year’s recipients were very surprised and I feel they really deserved their awards. The ADS awards committee always has to choose from many candidates. See the main ADS site page to see who they are: http://daffodilusa.org/about-ads/ads-medal-and-award-recipients/

Let’s end the suspense. :-) The ADS Silver Medal was awarded to Lynn Slackman. Lynn is doing much of the work on the ADS websites now. (She has been helpful to me in posting things to DaffLibrary when the techno stuff is beyond my pay grade.) The ADS Gold Medal was awarded to Nial Watson, and we all know about Nial’s hybridizing. Both medals were well-deserved, in my opinion. I’m sure there will be more in the Journal in due course.
Everyone in Sacramento was thrilled at the choice of these two wonderful people. Here are two photos taken shortly after the awards were presented.
